  1. What This Policy Covers

This policy explains how AuditSail Limited uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our marketing website and platform at auditsail.com. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy at auditsail.com/privacy.

  2. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use an online platform. They allow the site to recognise your device, remember your preferences, and collect information about how you interact with the service.

  3. Cookies We Use

    4.1 Essential Cookies

Essential cookies are necessary for the platform to operate and cannot be switched off. They include session authentication cookies that keep you securely logged in during your visit. These cookies do not collect information used for marketing purposes.

    4.2 Analytics Cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) via Google Tag Manager (GTM) on both our marketing website and platform to understand how visitors and users interact with our services. GA4 collects information such as pages visited, time spent, and general location derived from IP address. IP addresses are anonymised before processing. Data is processed by Google LLC in the USA under the IDTA. See Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

4.3 Session Recording and Heatmap Cookies

We intend to use Hotjar on our marketing website to record anonymised visitor sessions and generate heatmaps showing how visitors interact with our pages, to help us improve the design and usability of our website. Hotjar masks all form inputs and does not identify individual users. Hotjar will not be active within the authenticated AuditSail platform. This policy will be updated when Hotjar is activated. Data is processed by Hotjar Ltd in Malta (EU) under the UK's adequacy decision. See Hotjar's Privacy Policy at hotjar.com/legal/policies/privacy.

    4.4 Marketing and Advertising Cookies

We use advertising pixels on our marketing website to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns and, where you have consented, to enable relevant advertising across third-party platforms. These pixels are not active within the authenticated AuditSail platform.
